Whatever possessed him to offer I do not know, but this fine gentleman asked us if we??d like to ??see it?. It being Augusta National.
So we find ourselves being driven down Magnolia Lane...walking past 18 green...examining 14 green...standing on 10 tee...sizing up 12 tee shot...looking up at the big oak by the clubhouse...etc etc. Our host chairs the Grounds Committee here. He??s a farmer from Aiken County; a lovely gentleman; and one hell of a tour guide.
A special hour or two in a special place. Thanks mate ?? once in a lifetime stuff...
