Jamie is a Scot-Kiwi. He met Michael not long after moving to New Zealand and has unfortunately seen a lot of him since. Through puregolf2010 it looks like this trend will continue. Which, as Kiwis say, is "a bugger".
Jamie's not much of a golfer, and can often be spotted in the trees on the left hand side of every hole. (He has a vicious hook). But thankfully he has come to grips with the decline in his sporting prowess (and the imminent inflation of his unrealistically low handicap). It's not like it used to be.
On a more biographical note, Jamie has spent the last couple of years cutting his teeth on corporate law. Although lucky to have been exposed to the sharp end of the corporate law wedge - and to have met many interesting and talented people - he realised that this world was not for him. A change of direction was required; something that would push Jamie out of his comfort zone and expose him to new possibilities. Hence puregolf2010.
Throughout 2010 Jamie hopes to meet a bunch of interesting people and to look at life through a different lens. A new path might reveal itself. Who knows? Advertising, maybe - or journalism?
However life pans out for Jamie, puregolf2010 will be a fantastic way to spend a year of his life - before he ends up dull, married and mediocre. It will be tough to leave the gorgeous Angela behind, but someone has got to bring home the bacon while he's out playing golf...
